Sum­mer is almost here. You know what that means– time for some new hair­styles! Here are a few hair trends to keep you glow­ing all sum­mer long!

Pol­ished Ponytail:

Some­times on those hot, humid days you just need to put your hair up. Slicked back ponys are in this sum­mer! Try wrap­ping the base for a more pol­ished look. This is a good tuto­r­ial on how to achieve this per­fect no-nonsense hairstyle.

Acces­sories:

Throw some clips in that do!  Chanel had their mod­els decked out in pearls in their s/s 2012 show. Check this tuto­r­ial out on how to make your own! VOLUME:

Pump up the vol­ume! Ver­sace had the right idea with these bouncy locks! She is even on trend with the cen­ter part.

Blunt Bangs:

Elie Saab hit the nail on the head in this run­way show! If you don’t have bangs already, doesn’t this make you want to chop your hair?! There is some­thing play­ful, yet seri­ous about blunt bangs that I love. This style will stay all the way through fall! That way you have time to grow them out if it just-wasn’t-right-for-you.

Braids:

Now I’m not talk­ing your usual french braid here. Think two braids that morph into one to cre­ate a whim­si­cal sum­mer hair­style. This is one of my favorites and if your hair is long enough, this will be per­fect for you! Even if it’s humid out­side! Pos­si­bly for a roman­tic date night? This look is from Valentino’s spring show, but it can def­i­nitely con­tinue well on through sum­mer. Check out a tuto­r­ial here!

Cen­ter Part:

Go for a blow out when wear­ing your hair parted down the cen­ter. It is a cute hippy-esque way to look a bit more laid back while wear­ing a flowy sum­mer dress or even your daisy duke cut offs!
